Car Sharing for Blenheim volunteers

Are you planning to drive to Blenheim for the volunteering? The organisers have given us parking passes but not enough for one per volunteer. We have a number of people who are racing and can get in that way otherwise can you offer a space in your car to give someone a lift?

I'll start - anyone wishing a lift from Thame then I'll have 3 spaces in the car. I'll have to be there promptly and leave fairly late though expected to be no later than 4 but most like slightly earlier. Both days

I'll be driving from North Oxford with space for 4 other people, happy to collect from any where really since I can't see there being much traffic that early.

I'm planning on being there early enough and late enough for free food (so all day, both days).

Haven't cycled the A44 from Oxford to Belnheim before. How cycling unfriendly is it? I cycle the A4074 from Oxford to Wallingford several times a week so that can be used as a reference point for how much traffic etc Any comments appreciated. I can only assume that trafic will be ok in the morning.

Or if there is a better route that isn't too much longer I would be interested. I just don't want to get up too much earlier.

Hi Pete,

There's a cycle track pretty much all the way to Blenheim, so traffic's not a problem. Potholes are another issue though...

I was planning on cycling but 0630 is plain revolting, so I'm trying to scab a lift. Do either of you have space for an extra body on Sat? I'm near Iffley Turn/Donnington Bridge but can meet wherever.
