Open Water and Pre Blenheim Swims
As per Liz's email our Open Water Swims are due to start on Saturday 27th April (water temperature dependent) at 8am-9am at our usual location, Dorchester Sailing Club. They will then continue every Saturday throughout the season until around September. The only changes at the moment are the 4 Saturdays in May when the club session will be 7am-8am to allow the Pre-Blenheim Swims to take place at 8am-9am.

As always we will need 2 Swim Safety officers for each session and it is expected that everyone who swims takes a turn to make it fair for everyone. Sign up is open on the calendar.

Pre-Blenheim swims as above will take place each Saturday in May. We will need volunteers to help out each week either in the water with swimmers or as safety officers on the side. Sign up on the calendar.
There are still places available for these sessions so please spread the word. You can find more details and book here.

Easter Training
There are no official training sessions over the Easter weekend but watch out on Facebook for any details of social rides or runs. Sessions return to normal from Tuesday 23rd, apart from Kidlington swim which is having a two week break, returning Friday 3 May.

Our BaRRT (Bike and Run Time Trial) will be returning on Tuesday 7 May, as the first of the season this will also be followed by a social - more details nearer the time.

If you are new to the club, BARTTs are a series of fortnightly evening run–bike-run events throughout the summer. These are based by Oxsrad and are timed so that you can track your progress throughout the season. They are great race-pace training and also give you plenty of opportunities to practice your bike-to-run transition. We also run a little season championship with your best five results counting. There is also a final handicap event at the end of the season. You can find further

Saturday Social Run
Jon Marsden will lead this weekend's social run from Sandford on Thames heading south to Radley. Returning for tea/coffee/bacon bap in the village hall.  Meet Church Road (next to the Recreation Ground), Sandford on Thames, OX4 4YN at 9am.

Sunday Rides

We have two planned rides this weekend.

Sarah Spruytenburg will lead an intermediate/fast ride of about 50 miles out to the Chilterns, you can see the route here.

Bernard Calnan will lead a steady ride of approximately 25 miles with a coffee stop at a pace to suit the group.
