Membership Cards @ the Lake – Saturday Lake time change - Silverstone 9 Up payment  – Saturday Barton Swims - No Sunday Rides

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend with Blenheim and Cotswold 113 keeping a lot of you busy. Good luck to Dave Broadribb and Mark Ryan racing throughout the weekend in the Blenheim Weekend Warrior event!

And congratulations to Jane Bell for taking gold at the European aquathlon champs in Bratislava – fantastic result! And honourable mentions to Andrew Thorndyke, Michelle Reid and Fran Gomez, all just off the podium in 4th place in strong AG categories.

Membership Cards at the Lake

There was a great turnout at the lake last night but it was noted that there were significantly fewer membership cards than swimmers. Cards at all coached sessions are important for the emergency contact number, but especially important at the lake as this is our way of checking we have everyone out of the water at the end of the session. We must insist that you bring your card or you won’t be able to swim. From tomorrow we will be requiring all swimmers to leave their cards with the water safety officers – and tomorrow that just happens to be Liz and Lee – good luck with sneaking past them without a card!

Saturday Lake Swim back to normal time

Also while on the lake – just to remind you that Saturday lake sessions revert to regular 8am start now that Pre Blenheim Swims are over.

Silverstone 9 Up TT payment

A reminder to everyone racing at Silverstone 9 Up TT next Friday evening – please be sure to make your payment as soon as possible – use this link: https://oxfordtri.co.uk/silverstone-9-ttt-2017

Saturday Barton Swims finished

A reminder that Saturday afternoon swims at Barton have now finished. Many thanks to Alain, Katie and Doug for covering these sessions – who knew swimming on a Saturday afternoon could be fun!

For those of you missing Radley Wednesdays, we hope to be able to advise provisional return date soon – but still a few weeks off. Here’s what’s been going on at Radley so far....: http://www.radley.org.uk/Sport-Centre-Lastest-News

Sunday Rides

There will be no leader led rides this Sunday as so many members will be volunteering and racing at Blenheim and elsewhere. As ever, anyone is welcome to post rides and routes on Facebook. And related to that – I’m about to put together a leader rota for July and August. If anyone would like to join the ride leader group then let me know. There is no commitment to lead and you can chose how often and what speed or distance you lead. Have a chat with me or any ride leader if you’re interested.

And we haven’t run a Steady ride series of rides for a while – finding leaders can be difficult, but if you are interested in either joining a Steady group or perhaps leading a Steady ride then please comment on the FB post I will put up soon. Steady is typically for less confident riders and rides will probably go from 20 miles up to 35 miles over a 4 week period with no one being left behind.
